The Deerfield Planning Board meets on the first Monday of each month at 7 PM
The Planning Board will hold a hearing on March 28, 2011, beginning at 7:00 PM to discuss the proposed Solar Electric Installations bylaw. The bylaw is intended to set standards for the construction of large scale and extra large scale solar electric facilities within Deerfield to help the town qualify for a Green Community designation from the Commonwealth. The bylaw will not affect solar collectors on individual homes, structures, or small scale ground mounted installations.
