The Transfer Station is for Deerfield residents only.

No businesses are allowed.

Transfer Station accepts checks only for Trash Bag sales and Bulky Items. No cash.

Transfer Station Sticker

Residents must purchase a Transfer Station Sticker to enter the Transfer Station.

Stickers are valid July 1st through June 30th.
To continue going after June 30th, a new sticker would need to be purchased for the following year.

You must present your Vehicle Registration at time of purchase.

FY2026 Transfer Station Sticker Fee: $70
Additional stickers may be purchased for vehicles registered to the same household for $10 each.

FY2026 Senior Discount (65 and older): Free Roll of Small Bags (or a $17 credit towards a Roll of Large Bags) with the purchase of a first sticker. Senior must be listed on the vehicle registration

Your sticker must be fixed to your front windshield, driver's side, lower corner (opposite of your Inspection Sticker).

Transfer Station Trash Bags

Trash must be thrown away in our orange Town Trash Bags.

Bags are available in 2 sizes:

  • Small = 10 pack for $17 - 24 inches by 28 inches - 15 Gallon
  • Large = 10 pack for $28 - 33 inches by 37 inches - 37 Gallon

Town Trash Bags can be purchased at the following locations:

  • Transfer Station - both sizes
  • Hamshaw Lumber (Elm Street) - both sizes
  • Neighbors Gas Station (Conway Road) - Large only

ALL Deerfield Residents Can Use the Greenfield Transfer Station Year-Round. The Greenfield Transfer Station Accepts a Wide Variety of Materials. There is a Fee for Most Items.
