Swap Shed Volunteers needed (ADA)

“Swap Shed” Volunteers needed

The Deerfield DPW is ready to install a “Swap Shed” at the transfer station. Residents can leave usable items for others to take home.

Volunteers are needed to staff this service.

It will be open on Saturdays when volunteer staff are available.

Volunteers will be trained by the Franklin County Solid Waste District to learn what items to accept and how to organize the shed. This is an opportunity to make it easy for Deerfield to find treasures you have always wanted, and keep valuable items out of the landfill!

Please contact Laurie Boosahda at (413) 588-8986 or Amy Donovan at: (413) 772-2438 ext. 3 to volunteer!

More information about the shed’s operations and opening times will follow as soon as the volunteers are trained.
