Real Estate & Personal Property
tax bills are DUE May 1, 2020

If you have NOT received your bill by April 10th,
give the Tax Collector's office a call @ 413-665-1400 x101 or 102

The Town Hall is currently CLOSED to the public due to COVID-19.
We have enclosed the following notice about payment options with your tax bill:

ONLINE
Online payments are available on our website through Unibank. Secure payments are posted with a same-day credit to your account. 
1. Visit our website: www.deerfieldma.us
2. Select “Pay Online” on the left hand side of the Home Page.
3. Select “Tax Collector” for Taxes (or “Town Clerk” for dog licenses or vital record requests)
4. Select the Type of Bill or Record (ex. Real Estate or Personal Property) 
5. Enter all the requested information: Bill Number, Tax Year, etc. (or use the search option to find your bill) 
You may “Create an Account” (which would save your payment history for later reference) or “Check out as a Guest”.
Using a credit or debit card will incur a transaction fee, which is disclosed before you proceed.
Using your checking account instead of a card has a fee of 25¢ (cheaper than a stamp!). Once you complete your transaction, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided.

Mail to Address: 8 Conway Street, South Deerfield, MA 01373
*FOR A RECEIPT BY MAIL: Send us both the Remit & Taxpayer copies of your bill AND a self-addressed STAMPED envelope. We will mark your copy PAID and mail it back to you.*
**You may combine all tax bills onto 1 check**

No cash payment accepted.
 

DROPBOX
We plan to install a drop box outside of the Town Offices at 8 Conway Street.  We will empty the dropbox daily and plan to position it within the view of video surveillance.
Please enclose your tax bills and check together in a SEALED envelope before depositing into the dropbox.
