In accordance with Massachusetts Law, our office must provide employees with access to the Conflict of Interest Laws within 30 days of hire and then again annually for every year of employment. Around the New Year, you will receive an email from the Town Clerk / Treasurer's office with access to the Conflict of Interest Laws and the Online Training Program as provided by the State Ethics Commission.
Every year, our office needs a receipt that you received access to this information. Simply 'reply' to our email and we will use that as an acknowledgment that you received access to the appropriate documents. You may so fill out the manual receipt that is at the end of the Summary of Conflict of Interest laws (see below for access to a printable receipt).
Every 2 years, our office needs a copy of the Certificate of Completion that you receive at the end of the Online Training Program. You may email, fax, mail, or drop this off to our office.
